Blog Post Title Four
For someone who does mostly strength training and endurance, I find myself always tight. I also neglect stretching after workouts. Lina’s yoga classes have helped put that aspect back into focus. Even if I only do one class a week, I find myself feeling more relaxed, less sore and tight, AND doing some of her balance techniques at home. What makes Lina’s classes exceptional for me compared to others I’ve visited, at different points in the flow she will give us options (from a light, medium to a more difficult pose) to push ourselves if we feel up to it. And also, she reminds us that it’s ok if today just isn’t our day for she too has been off balance before and I think that all makes us for normal. I always listen to her soft voice give us advice and directions because she said something during class one day that made me… well… in that moment it was what I needed to hear. For that, I’m always grateful to be able to join her when I can.
